I rifled through Mom & Dad's pictures today and made a vague promise to Mom that I wouldn't post anything embarrassing....
Here's some more from Grandpa's childhood:
Grandpa's Grandma Anderson with him and his siblings, 1923.
Grandpa's dad, Nate, with him and his brothers, 1922-ish.
Nate and his 4 children, 1920.
Grandma Anderson with her mother and brother, mid-1920's.
Grandpa and his 3 boys, Rick, Don, and Ken (Dad), 1950's.
Ken, Don, and Rick. You can just imagine how Rick turned out.
When I was little, I had a crush on my uncle Don - isn't he cute?
Rick and Ken enthusiastically walking with their sister, Janet, to church.
Rick and Ken showing a skill in ping-pong that would stay with them into adulthood.
Grandma and Grandpa were very careful to buy Dad and Rick the same holster set, so they wouldn't fight. The boys fought over who got what set.
Dad keeping the John Deere tradition alive.
