My father was the one that corrected me.

My father dealt with me in a stern and understanding voice.

I disobeyed my father and went to Shen. (Shenandoah) with a class from school.  My father had told me not to go.

When I come home from Shen my father was waiting for me.  I told asked my father to forgive me and he did.
